Mr. Tushar Jani-
Tushar Jani is from the third generation of his family business of freight forwarding since 1976, and took over the reins of SCA Group of companies which has been involved in custom clearance and freight forwarding in India. He has started various new innovative ideas within the freight forwarding industry in the late seventies in India and was among first few to dispatch Sea-bound containers to far flung area . His spirit to do think and implement innovative ideas made him to start an Air cargo business by Chartering freighters in early eighties for factories starting of export goods..
His experience in the Air freight business and partnering with his two colleague, he founded Blue Dart Courier Services with lot of hard work and dedication. Blue Dart Courier Services became South East Asia largest Express Company and later named it as Blue Dart Express Limited over a period of time. The growth of Blue Dart Express prompted him to promote India’s first and only successful Air Cargo Airline , Blue Dart Aviation Limited with five 737-200 Aircrafts, of which he is current founder chairman. Today Blue Dart operates with seven 757 freighters within India which covers all the major and mini-metros which are the most busiest commercial Hubs of India
He also started NVOCC business under the name SWIFT FREIGHT PVT.LTD in early nineties with his two partner. Swift Freight was the first from India to start business in United States of America with FMC registration and having offices across the country and in USA.
In 2007, Tushar along-with his partner took controlling interest in Cargo Service Center (CSC) an Air Cargo handling company. Cargo Service Center India Private Limited , is today the largest Air Cargo handling Company in India with its operation in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Ahmadabad, Mangalore and Aurangabad. Tushar is currently the Group Chairman of CSC.
